We've taken inspiration from tried and tested systems from all kinds of DAOs, including but not limited to: JUMP, Forefront, rabbithole.gg, Bankless, FWB and Cabin DAO. This document is meant to provide a detailed overview of the proposed FXYZ bounty system.
The bounty system's goal is to encourage participation within the community and reward members for their contributions and activity. This system prioritizes activity vs accomplishments; our philosophy is that genuine efforts at accomplishing a bounty are to be rewarded, although at a fraction of the payout for earning the full bounty.
Bounties are rewards given to FXYZ community members who attempt and/or complete tasks that help further the goals of the DAO. Rewards will be given in $FXYZ tokens, though we will consider allocating some treasury assets exclusively for bounty payouts. Until our token is created, rewards will be noted and tracked by the core team.
Bounties are the way work in the Web3 world gets done. They allow anybody to take initiative and make the project they’re passionate about better. If you’re new to DAOs and confused as to what’s the benefit of bounties, here’s a couple:
